Does Steve Jobs deserve a public ceremony or monument on his death.
No.
Because he has not done anything with the intention of helping the public.
What ever he has created is with a profit motive for self only.
He has not taken part in any public welfare actions.
He has not donated for philonthropy.
He has not set up any trusts for humanitarian purpose.
He has acknowledged that he used to walk to the Hindu Hare Krishna temple for the one full meal of his day.
But when he was worth 6.5 Billion $, he has not contributed a single $ to that organisation.
He made the teenage colleague pregnant and when she presented his daughter,
he refused to accept the fact, which, later he did.
Instead, he has done everything purely for the purpose of satisfying himself and personal profit motive.
He has sold his products for high profits and made money.
He and his family have conceded that they are strictly private.
So he does not deserve a public function or a public monument
